Is the seating chart maker really free?
Yes. Open every template, edit your layout, and export a watermarked PDF or SVG without an account. A free account adds one saved cloud plan and a view-only share link. Upgrade to Pro whenever you need more plans, clean exports, or version history.
Can I put musicians’ names on the chart?
Yes. Select a chair, open the Inspector, and enter the musician’s name in the Label field. Labels appear on the chart and in your export. You can also add text labels for section names or setup notes.
Will this work for my band, pit orchestra, or choir?
There are ten ensemble templates, including concert band, jazz big band, pit orchestra, and choir with orchestra. Every layout is editable, and a blank stage lets you build a different arrangement.
Where is my plan saved?
The free maker keeps a draft in this browser on this device. Create an account and save to the cloud to open your plan elsewhere. Browser drafts can be lost when you clear site data or use private browsing, so export a copy or save important work to your account.
How do I make a PDF?
Open Export in the editor, choose Letter, Tabloid, or A3, and select Print / PDF. In your browser’s print dialog, choose Save as PDF. You can also download an SVG directly.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Open Billing and choose Manage subscription to cancel through the Stripe billing portal. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
